Home processing and neighborhood gleaning and foraging take center stage at the From Scratch Kitchen Friday, August 28th at 6pm. Local experts show how easy it is to can and forage from the comfort of your own home (or neighborhood as the case may be.) And what kind of an exchange would it be if you couldn’t bring your own excess goodies for an old fashioned swap?
Expert Canner and Forager Demos:
6:00 Vanessa Barrington [wild and lacto-fermented foods]
6:20 forageSF [sauteed sea beans]
6:40 The Fruit Girls [making an affordable fruit picker]
7:00 Happy Girl Kitchen [classic dill pickles]
